What Is The Overall Goal Of A QRC?

The ultimate goal of vocational rehabilitation is to return injured workers back to work.

QRCs can work for the state vocational rehabilitation unit, QRC firms, independent QRC firms or insurance companies/third party administrators. They are required to remain neutral throughout the vocational rehabilitation process.

Who Does The QRC Work For?

The QRC is paid for by workers’ compensation insurance. It is NEVER paid for by the injured worker.

Who Qualifies For A QRC?

Anyone who is injured on the job in the state of Minnesota and is suffering from an injury that is prohibiting them from completing their regular job/duties.

All parties involved should benefit from the use of a QRC. It benefits the injured worker, the employer, insurance company, physicians, and Attorneys (if applicable). It’s the QRC’s job to get the injured worker healthier and back to their career.

Who Benefits From A QRC?

Often they are referred to one by the employer, an attorney, insurance company or a doctor. Even if they are referred one, they have the right to seek out their own.
